One Way Remotes

One Way Systems simply sends the command to your vehicle, and you receive no confirmation, similar to your factory remote control.

Integrated Factory Remote

If you prefer keeping things as simple as possible and don’t want to carry an additional remote, Compustar offers the ability to use your vehicle’s existing factory remote to control your remote start system. This setup works seamlessly by simply pressing the lock button three times to activate the remote start. However, factory remotes typically only offer a short range—around 100 to 300 feet.

One Button One Way Remote

With a single button, you can lock, unlock, and start your car. This option is perfect if you just want the basic functions of a remote start system without the added complexity of additional buttons. Many one-button remotes still provide long-range capabilities, with some models offering up to 3,000 feet or more in range.

Four Button One Way Remote

If you’re someone who likes to have more control over your vehicle, the four-button remote is a step up from the one-button option. With separate buttons for locking, unlocking, trunk release, and remote start, this remote offers added functionality without being overly complicated.

Two Way Remote

If you want confirmation that your vehicle has actually received your command, then a 2-way remote is the way to go. Unlike standard remotes, which only send signals, 2-way remotes send a signal to your vehicle and receive a confirmation back. This means you’ll know for sure if your car has started, unlocked, or locked successfully, even if you’re far away.

The four button design typically replaced an external remote from the vehicles key. The 4 button remote commands include lock, unlock and start from up to 3000 feet from your vehicle.
